Understanding the earlier guide
The earlier guide explained a bursary as funding towards some or all study costs. It discussed government, sector education and training, corporate, non-profit and private funding as different categories of study support.
It also separated tuition fees, learning materials and assessment costs when discussing what financial support might cover. Those categories help explain historical funding records; they do not establish that a current CGTS bursary is available.
Historical funding and existing cases
Past bursary information must be read with the terms of the individual application or award. An existing application or payment enquiry can be referred to CGTS staff for review. The closure notice does not itself determine an existing award, learner access or refund outcome.
